Kerry Del Pizzo has been with United Way of Northwest Alabama since October 2016, first serving as Community Impact Director and now as Chief Operating Officer. With a deep commitment to community service and a focus on measurable and lasting change, Kerry has dedicated her career to improving the lives of individuals and families throughout Northwest Alabama.

Originally from Brighton, Ontario, she brings a broad perspective and a strong sense of civic responsibility shaped by her upbringing in a close-knit Canadian community. During her tenure, Kerry has led the development and expansion of innovative programs that support United Ways core impact areas including education, financial stability, and health. Her strategic leadership has strengthened partnerships with business leaders and nonprofit organizations, increasing the organizations capacity to respond effectively to emerging community needs, especially among families who struggle to meet basic expenses despite working full time.

In addition to her work at United Way, Kerry serves on the board of TEDxWilsonPark and is an active member of the St. Joseph School PTO. She is also a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church, reflecting her strong connection to the community she serves.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Kerry is married to Fred and is a proud mother of two children. The family also shares their home with their spirited Brussels Griffon named Barb.
